Oscar Okine Kally, founder of InsurAbility, brings a distinctive and highly informed approach to recruitment. With a background as an underwriter and lived experience of neurodivergence, he offers both technical expertise and genuine empathy.

 

Drawing on his professional insight and personal journey, Oscar provides tailored, thoughtful support to individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism—ensuring their strengths are recognised, their needs are understood, and they receive the highest standard of care and attention throughout the recruitment process.

Why I created InsurAbility

The insurance market is placing increasing emphasis on diversity, with many insurers investing heavily in DEI initiatives. However, attracting diverse talent is only part of the solution. True progress comes from maintaining that talent, supporting successful transitions, and creating environments where individuals can thrive long term. I recognised a clear gap between intention and execution in this space.

 

At the same time, the market has become more diluted and increasingly competitive. Competitive advantage no longer comes solely from technology or underwriting expertise—it also comes from different perspectives, diverse minds, and new ways of thinking.

 

InsurAbility was created to bridge that gap: to help insurers not only attract exceptional and diverse talent, but retain it, empower it, and ultimately strengthen their competitive edge.
